Transport Leader Special Transports Arboga

We are now looking for Transport Leaders who will become part of Special Transports in the continued development of the Armed Forces' transport function.
About us
The Swedish Armed Forces Logistics (FMLOG) is responsible for providing qualified logistics support to units, schools, and centers – both nationally and internationally. Within FMLOG, there is the Armed Forces Transport Unit, which leads and coordinates both strategic and operational transport of personnel, equipment, and units. Our assignments include air, sea, road, and rail transport, and are carried out both within and outside Sweden's borders.

Main responsibilities
As a transport leader, you will work with the daily operations of the business, which includes planning transports, being responsible for scheduling, and business trips where overnight stays occur. You may also need to participate in overseas service and take part in international missions and exercises.
Qualifications
- You must have completed upper secondary education or equivalent knowledge assessed by the employer as equivalent.
- Documented experience in the transport industry
- Driving license BECE
Personal qualities
You are flexible, attentive, clear in your communication, and have an easy time building relationships. Furthermore, you are responsible, quality-conscious, and systematic in your pursuit of continuously achieving good results. The ability to create sustainable relationships and adapt to new or changed tasks is seen as an asset in this work.
Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.
Meritorious
- Completed upper secondary education in the transport program
- Experience as a transport leader
- Good knowledge of English
- Completed ADR class 1 - explosives
- YKB (Professional Competence Certificate)
- Good computer skills
Other
Employment form: Permanent full-time. The employment begins with a 6-month probationary period for those who are not already employed by the Armed Forces.
Individual salary setting applies.
Planned 3 hours of physical activity per week during regular working hours.
28-35 vacation days per year depending on your age.
Start date: By agreement.
